New York: Urban Decay Style (and random makeup looks)

I have been lusting after the Urban Decay Book of Shadows New York for a minute now and finally decided to just splurge and buy it at work, put my discount to good use!  I swear, working in a beauty store may be the best and worst thing I've ever done, lol!  Sort of like an alcoholic working as a bartender...so much for willpower!

There are some absolutely gorgeous shades in there, both new and old favorites.  I'm in love with Midnight Cowboy Rides Again lately, so that secured my idea to purchase the palette.  The shadows are velvety and there are rich colors to please the eyes.  Some have glitter for fun and some don't, all are fine by me!

The NYC book of shadows has a very cute pop up feature that lights up and shows off the quirky fun colorful nature of the people and place that is NEW YORK CITY BABY.

Do you own the palette?  What do you think of it?

Money, Perversion, and Loaded were used on my eyes today, along  with the 24/7 glide on pencil in Zero that comes in the kit, and 24/7 glide on in Stash on the lower lash line and some Covergirl Lash Blast mascara.

Off topic of the Urban Decay palette, I did some random makeup looks the past couple of days that I never loaded, so here they are:

I wore a peaches and plums look to work using only the Wet N Wild Palettes Lust and Greed.  Eyeliner was the 24/7 glide on pencils in Mildew (green) and Ransom (purple).  Mascara was the L'oreal Double Extend Mascara with Lash Boosting Serum Primer.  I've been using the Lash Serum at night and the double extend during the day like it says and my lashes are looking pretty!  I'd recommend the product and will do a real review in a couple of weeks.

The Ice Queen

Products used:

a very old L'oreal single eyeshadow in a silver with glitter chunks on the whole lid

bright blue from my Sleek palette in the crease, the navy blue next to it lightly applied on top of the brighter blue and then a bit of black over the blue on the outer crease.

NYX pencil in Milk in the lower lash line and 24/7 glide on pencil in Binge on the upper lash line.

Lancome Definicils Precious Cells Mascara with Maybelline Great Lash in Royal Blue over it.  Great lash on lower lashes as well.

Ice ice baby!  brrrrrr
