Meet Cherrelle of Mahogany Skye (Featured Business)

I’ve had the pleasure of being in communication with Cherrelle of Mahogany Skye, a yummy luxurious line of honey salt body scrubs.

This stuff is LUSH!  She was ever so kind as to send me a couple to try out and I was blown away by how DELICIOUS they smell!  I chose the Cocoa Blueberry and Strawberry Lemonsun fragrances and MAN if it doesn't make you want to tilt the jars back and just drink them!  My brother asked if he could put the strawberry lemonsun one in a cup and drink it, lol, smells THAT wonderful and like a tall cold glass of strawberry lemonade on a hot summers day...oh the memories it brought back!  The cocoa blueberry smells like brownie mix, and ya'll know that I'm a desert loving fiend!  I'm going to do a review of the scrubs after I use them a couple of times, but for now I wanted to present Cherrelle to you and let you get to know a bit about her and her fabulous company :)

This gorgeous natural haired diva not only is the founder of her own great line, but she is also in law school right now!  Socialite approved hustle, get it Cherrelle!

1. What/who inspired you to create your brand?

My inspiration for Mahogany Skye came from more than one source. It was essentially every relevant thing in my life coming together in an epiphany indicating this is what I am supposed to do in this moment.

2. Tell us some about you

I love life, and I am so incredibly blessed. Things have only gotten sweeter since I realized that I too have to be one of my top priorities. This realization was part of the conception of Mahogany Skye.

3. What's next for your company?  What other body care items would you add to your line?

I would like to expand my product line of honey salt scrubs. I have some other varieties in mind. I would also like to add to my line of body care items in the future, though I am not sure what my next product line will be.

4. How do you pick out the sumptuous fragrances?

My sumptuous fragrances come from my heart to yours. These are all fragrances that I find delightful, and I know my customers will find them pleasing as well. (vonnie speaking: she calculated that right! man, they make me want to swoooon, I love the scents)

5. Where did the brand name, Mahogany Skye, come from?

The name Mahogany Skye is so full of meaning- it has multiple layers. At its core is an appreciation for nature and a desire to use primarily quality, natural ingredients to create delightful products from these ingredients, which are found within the confines of the earth and the sky.

6. Why use your products?

....because your body deserves a treat.

These would make great Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers!  Pamper your skin and support a great small business :)   Check out more on the products and Cherrelle here: http://www.mahoganyskye.com/products.html

Do you guys love body scrubs?  I find them to be super important in the winter because our skin can become so dry and flaky with the harsh cold wind and dry heat indoors.  How important are they to your regimen?  Which of her fragrances/flavors would you want to try the most?
