Marilyn Monroe Inspired Makeup Look of the Day

You Can Hue It There was no way that I could rock this new hair and NOT do a makeup look inspired by the original blonde bombshell, Miss Marilyn Monroe. Lol, they kept calling me that at work, fun times. She is known for her light lids, winged eyeliner, lush false lashes, and pouty red lip, so I recreated that:
and the Marilyn makeup that inspired it:


I used the Naked palette's Sidecar (shimmering champagne) with a bit of darkhorse above the crease for depth and the color Naked under the brows as highlighter. The lashes are Red Cherry human hair lashes in 47 and the lipstick is Make Up For Ever Blue Red 205 with a red Victoria's Secret gloss over it for shine (I'm wearing more of the gloss than lipstick at this point since I'd reapplied the gloss throughout the day but not the lipstick after drinking water and nibbling a cookie). Maybelline Gel Liner in black created the wing.
