Lauryn Hill - 28 Days of Black Beauty

The 28 days of black beauty series is a celebration of Black History Month (February) done beauty blogger style.  I'll showcase a different woman each day and recreate one of her makeup looks while also giving some information on her life/career.  Maybe you'll learn more about some favorites or get hip to new black women that you didn't know much about :)  Enjoy!

Lauryn Hill started in the music business as a member of the Fugees and then burst out with her solo album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill".  That album led to massive commercial and critical success, earning her 5 Grammys.  She also has acted, most notably "Sister Act 2".

I think that Lauryn looks very pretty here, so I recreated this makeup look on Ariel:

Here it is on Ariel:

Products used:

Mac Diva lipstick

Silver and purple from Tarina Tarantino Starchild Odyssey palette

Urban Decay Perversion shadow (black)

Light pink from 88 Matte palette for under brows

Wet n Wild pearlescent pink blush
