For a Good Time , Call - Movie Review

Pure hilarity!  This movie was awesome and easily my favorite that I've seen this year :D  I honestly hadn't even heard of it nor knew what it was about before I showed up for the pre-screening, so I was totally walking in blind.  What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be!

I cracked up the whole movie and loved the whole storyline + characters + dialogue which is very rare for a movie to hit it out of the park on ALL counts.

You can get a gist of it from the trailer that I found:

Uptight Lauren gets dumped by her boyfriend for being boring and because he wants to go find himself overseas so she needs a new job and a new apartment ASAP.  Katie is being kicked out of the apartment that her grandmother left to her (GORGEOUS huge NYC Gramercy Park place) because it won't be rent-controlled anymore and she can't afford it without a roommate. They should totally move in together and help each other out, right?

WELL, 10 years earlier they had a major rift when Lauren has to drive Katie home from a party in college and Katie throws a cup of pee at her...you have to see it lmao.  Needless to say, they aren't exactly BFFs but desperate times call for desperate measures and they try to make this work.

Lauren doesn't get the publishing job that she wants and finds out that Katie is a phone sex operator, which has the potential to make great money since Katie is OUT there and unreserved.  She's perfect at the job but not at business which is where Lauren takes over and they create a company that brings in more than $12,000 a month. 

It's pure hilarity though as they work with clients, learn to love each other, figure out how to navigate dating and business, and come out on top. 

Get your girls together and gooooo see this movie!  You'll laugh so hard, I want to see it again :D  The comedic timing was great, the chemistry was awesome, and the dialogue/situations kept me cracking up.  Perfect.

I easilly give this a 5/5 stars!  There wasn't anything that I didn't like :D
