Chicago,
Entertainment,
Fashion Better late than never, right? LOL! I ventured downtown with BFF Ashley so that we could check out the fun happenings of Fashion's Night Out Chicago since we couldn't be in NYC for the real fun. Here's some pics, turned out to be a cool evening! The last time that we went it was pouring rain and terrible so I'm glad that Chicago redeemed itself a bit in our minds:
Nordstrom's/The Shops of Northbridge: What I liked the most were the platforms set up in the main aisle of the mall where models/live mannequins showed off looks that fashion stylists had put together and then the public voted on which looks they thought were the hottest by dropping a black token into the tube on the platform. So interactive!
I want those red chairs and that male MODEL from the first photo but I voted for the looks in the last photo ;) BFF Ashley voted for the United Colors of Beneton look in the 2nd photo.
Then we went inside Nordstrom's to try on shoes and get BFF Ashley's makeup done at the Nars counter. They are having a cool Fashion show and Nars presentation on September 15th all day at Nordstrom if any of you socialites want to hit that up, Kimora Lee Simmons is debuting her skincare line and will be there too.
I wanted to eat this chubby little baby all up! She had the CUTEST fat cheeks and looked like Brad Pitt's daughter Shiloh. She was a total fashionista in the making too, kept reaching for these Gucci bow heels that I wanted. Two snaps for the cutie!
After Nordstom's, we headed up The Magnificent Mile down to Saks Fifth Avenue where they had AMAZING cookies designed for the evening. I don't know if I was just hungry or they were that good but I wanted a bucket of those deliciously sugary confections lol.
900 North Michigan was the next stop where there were DJs, food by Groupon vendors, and Bianca Golden from America's Next Top Model
Sprinkle's Cupcakes is across the street from 900 North so we HAD to try out the new cupcake ATM! It's sooooo freaking cool, it's like a vending machine for fresh homemade cupcakes when the store itself is closed. Genius!
Red Velvet and Banana Chocolate cupcakes were on deck, cheers! They were devoured too quickly before I even thought to take out the cam for pics, sowwy!
Well that was our adventure, fun times :D Until next year.....Did any of you make it to your city's Fashion's Night Out? How'd it go?
