Cruella de Vil and Madame Medusa - Villains Series

PUPPIES PUPPIES PUPPIES!!!!  My inspiration this week was the crazy wicked Cruella de Vil (how awesome is that name? I always thought she had THE coolest villain name) from 101 Dalmations.  While she never wore this actual makeup look, I'm quite SURE you can see the inspiration behind it.  Lover of all things black, white, and red, here it is:

the inspiration:

Tracy at Beauty-Reflections, my partner in crime so to speak, had this to say:

This week I chose a lesser known Disney Villain to recreate, Madame Medusa from The Rescuers.

I saw this movie when I was little and Madame Medusa terrified me! First off,  just her name was enough to give nightmares! This villain kidnaps the poor orphan Penny, has two pet crocodiles, holds Penny's teddy bear hostage to make her retrieve the Devil's Eye Diamond, then tries to chase her down water skiing! Madame Medusa is ruthless, greedy, insane-a great villain that often gets forgotten, but not by me!!

Part of Madame Medusa's villainous appeal to me (now that I'm older!) was all the crazy faces this character makes. She really is insane! And-this woman LOVES her makeup. One of the best scenes I'll never forget is when she peels off her fake eyelashes. She has NO EYELASHES! That I tell you, was super scary to see when you're only ten years old!

So, here's my Madame Medusa look for you all! These are my best, "I've got your teddy bear kid, so you better get me that diamond!" looks:

And here's a close-up on the eyes, which were super easy to do. I took my Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil in Morphine all over my eye in a huge oval shape. Then I took my MAC eyeshadow in Parfait Amour over that to set it, lined my water line with a black pencil and put on the biggest false lashes I could find.

I don't know but I think I could get used to having the red hair!

So there you have it, folks!  Hope you enjoyed this week's villains series.  You can see the other looks here: Villains Series Looks  Stay tuned next Thursday for the next Villains!  muhahahahaha
