Beauty Uses For Olive Oil
Olive oil is truly a great wonder of the world! Not only is it amazing and healthy to cook with, but it has numerous benefits for a beauty regimen!

-For smooth soft skin, especially with the colder months upon us, rubbing olive oil onto the skin after a warm shower is a great way to seal in moisture. While still in the steamy bathroom, simply pour some into your palm and spread onto those gorgeous limbs of yours, focusing on the feet/elbows/knees.

-Did you know that olive oil can be used as a makeup remover? It can even remove mascara! Massage olive oil into the face and over the eyelids and wipe away with a warm towel then follow with your normal cleanser. Voila, supple skin! -Apply a bit of olive oil to lips before bed or going out into the cold for a natural lip balm!

-The hair LOVES olive oil! I do a pre-shampoo treatment of olive oil and coconut oil with a creamy conditioner for easy to detangle hair. If you don't want to deep condition with that mixture before washing, add olive oil to your shampoo and it will minimize the drying that can occur with shampoos. Oil rinsing can be done by washing the hair, rinsing it, then coating your hair with olive oil before rinsing with water and adding conditioner. This makes the hair soft and supple to the touch! For those who have straight hair, after washing and conditioning your tresses, coat your hair with a 1/2 cup of olive oil then cover with a hot towel until it cools and then rinse out. You'll notice more shine and health! Olive oil is also great for sealing the ends of the hair after adding moisturizers to it whenever is needed. For an itchy dry scalp, massage a bit of olive oil onto it.

-For a pampering bath, add olive oil to the water and your skin will thank you for it!

There are many beauty products that come with olive oil in its ingredients, but of course you can just buy straight up olive oil from your local grocer and reap the many beauty benefits available from the wonderful creation of nature.
