"And Tears Dry on Their Own..." RIP Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse passed away yesterday and while it wasn't altogether a surprise as she seemed on a very self-destructive path, it still saddened me greatly.  There are very few albums that I love every song on and she happens to have made one of them (Back to Black).  

Pain and destructive tendencies can propel art to great levels, creating lyrics and songs that are timeless and heartfelt but the same things that can fuel your art can of course fuel your demise.  So many artists and creative types have met untimely ends and I really wish that there was some way to get to them and detour from the path of destruction.
